Worldwide Release of CATI Cigars at Industrial Cigar Co.

CATI Cigars, the highly anticipated brand-new line of premium cigars, is set to make its global debut on June 1st, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the recently awarded ‘Best Cigar Lounge’ by PCA, Industrial Cigar Co. in Frisco, Texas. CATI, pronounced like “CATI”, is an acronym for “Come and Take It.” The cigars are designed to embody the spirit of defiance and resilience by paying homage to the Lone Star State’s rich history. The brand’s founder, Mark McClurkan, has teamed up with Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco in Honduras, lead by Brian Motola and Sebastien Decoppet, to meticulously craft each blend to appeal to a wide array of cigar smokers.

The first blend, named PR-49, pays homage to his father, Phillip Ray, born in 1949.
The PR-49 blend, will launch in three different vitolas, providing a delightful
medium-bodied smoking experience with a Jamastran Habano wrapper, Honduran-
grown Connecticut binder, and a blend of Honduran broadleaf, Estelí, and Jalapa fillers.

CATI’s signature vitola, aptly named “Cannon,” is a tribute to the historic cannon
depicted on the Gonzalez Flag, which was the first flag of the Texas Revolution. The
original mold for this cigar was crafted to resemble the shape of a cannon, complete
with a pig tail cap. Additional sizes of the cannon will be available with future releases.

Mark McClurkan’s journey in creating CATI Cigars has been closely intertwined with
Industrial Cigar Co. Mark says, “Over the last seven years, since the opening of Industrial Cigar Co. and being one of their first members, I’ve gained and even greater appreciation for boutique cigars. The more I learned, the more I wanted to get my hands dirty while also giving a nod to our family and heritage by doing something that I truly developed a strong passion for. Without Industrial Cigar Co. I never could have developed the contacts and education that was necessary to bring my dream to life.”
